Car A/C Not Blowing Cold After a Recharge?
A recharge only replaces refrigerant that leaked out. If the A/C is still warm — or went warm again within weeks — the cause is a leak or an electrical fault the recharge didn’t touch. We find it, tell you the price, and repair it, often the same day.

“I was originally quoted $3,000 - $5,000 at the dealership to ‘fix’ my AC. Denis was able to figure out the issue and fix it for $150.”

What your A/C is doing — and what it usually means
These are the patterns we see every week. The only way to know for sure is to test the system.
Cold for a few days or weeks after a recharge, then warm again
LeakThe refrigerant is escaping. We find the leak, repair it, and only then recharge the system.
Cold on the highway, warm at red lights and in traffic
Cooling fanAt a standstill the condenser depends on the fan. A failed fan motor, fan control or temperature signal lets the heat build up.
Works, then quits in the heat of the day
Relay · pressure switch · clutchParts on their way out tend to fail when the system is working hardest.
The compressor won’t engage — no click when you turn the A/C on
Power & signalA fuse, relay, clutch, pressure sensor or the command signal from the module is keeping it off.
Hissing while the A/C is running
Leak · expansion valveA loud or constant hiss often means refrigerant is escaping or the expansion valve is failing. A soft hiss for a few seconds after you switch the A/C off is normal.
Squealing, clicking or grinding when the A/C kicks on
Belt · clutch bearing · compressorA squeal usually points to a worn belt or clutch bearing. Knocking or grinding can mean the compressor is failing — the sooner it’s checked, the less damage it spreads.
Cold on one side of the car, warm on the other
Blend door actuatorA small electric motor directs air past the heater. When it fails or sticks, one side stays warm.
Barely any air comes out of the vents
Blower & airflowA clogged cabin air filter, a failing blower motor or its resistor — or, less often, an iced-up evaporator.

A recharge puts refrigerant back. It doesn’t find where it went, and it doesn’t touch the electrical side — the relays, sensors, clutch and fans that decide whether the compressor runs at all. That’s what we test first.
- Fuse & relayPower has to reach the compressor circuit.
- Pressure sensor / switchA bad reading can keep the compressor switched off.
- Control signalThe engine or climate module has to tell it to turn on.
- Clutch / control valveEngages the compressor — or doesn’t.
Any one of these can fail while the refrigerant level is perfectly fine. That’s why a recharge alone often doesn’t bring the cold back.
- LeaksHoses, seals, the condenser and the compressor.
- Fuses & relaysPower to the compressor and cooling-fan circuits.
- Pressure sensor or switchWhether the reading is real, and whether it’s keeping the compressor off.
- Compressor clutch & control valveWhether the compressor actually engages when it’s told to.
- Cooling fans & fan controlWhether the condenser can get rid of heat at idle.
- Blend doors & airflowWhether cold air reaches the vents it should.
- Wiring, connectors & control moduleBroken wires, corrosion and the signals between them.
Then we repair what failed — electrical parts, leaks, fans or the compressor — and recharge the system once it’s sealed. We’re certified to handle and recharge A/C refrigerant.

We find the cause
We test the system and show you what failed — and why a recharge didn’t fix it.
You approve the price
You hear the price before any work starts. If we find something else, we send photos or a video on WhatsApp first. When parts are in stock, we usually finish the same day.

Drivers who tried the recharge first.
My AC wasn’t working and I already went to a couple of other places. They just added Freon, but the AC still wasn’t working.
I came here and they actually found the problem. Turned out it was an electrical issue, not the Freon. They fixed it and now the AC works great.
Another place tried to fix my AC, but it was still blowing hot air the next day. I brought my car here, and they just handled it so fast. Now it’s ice cold again. They were really sweet and explained everything simply.
I brought in my 2021 Ram TRX with what appeared to be a very complicated electrical issue. The infotainment system, A/C, and power windows had all stopped working simultaneously…
The team quickly diagnosed the problem, kept me informed throughout the process, and had my truck repaired much faster than I expected.
Car A/C questions we hear every week.
Why is my car A/C blowing warm right after a recharge?
Two common reasons. Either the system has a leak, so the new refrigerant is escaping, or the refrigerant was never the problem and something electrical is keeping the compressor, fan or blend door from doing its job. A recharge fixes neither.
The Freon is full — so why isn’t my A/C cold?
Then something else is stopping it from cooling. The compressor may not be engaging because of a relay, sensor, clutch or wiring fault; the cooling fan may not be running; or a blend door may be sending air past the heater. That’s exactly what we test.
Do you just add Freon?
Not without knowing why it’s low. Refrigerant isn’t used up like fuel — if the level is low, it’s leaking somewhere. We find and repair the leak, then recharge the system.
How much does car A/C repair cost?
It depends on what failed — a relay and a compressor are very different jobs. That’s why we find the cause first and tell you the price before any work starts.
Can you fix it the same day?
When the parts are in stock, usually yes. If a part has to be ordered, we’ll tell you up front.
Do you work on my car?
We work on all makes and models.
Are you certified to work with refrigerant?
Yes. We’re certified to handle and recharge A/C refrigerant.
Do you speak Russian?
Yes. We serve customers in English and Russian.
Do I need an appointment?
