Why a recharge didn’t fix your A/C
A recharge only replaces refrigerant that leaked out. It doesn’t seal the leak, and it doesn’t touch the electrical side — the relay, pressure sensor, compressor clutch and cooling fan that decide whether the system cools at all. We test for both, fix what actually failed, and tell you the price before any work.
Low refrigerant means it escaped somewhere
It will escape again after a recharge. The leak has to be found and sealed first.
The compressor needs power and a signal to run
A failed fuse, relay, sensor or clutch keeps the system warm — even with a full charge.
Heat has to get out, and cold air has to reach the vents
A dead cooling fan or a stuck blend door means warm air from a system that is otherwise fine.
